We are so excited that you want to learn more about us! Here are answers to some common questions asked about our ministry…

What happens during the week at Wesley?
Our Tuesday night worship service starts at 7pm. We have a Wednesday morning Bible study in the Culp at 10am. We take part in local mission projects, we have Wesley on Tour where we go to local churches on Sunday, small group hikes, we have lunch in the Culp together, and so much more!
When are you open?
The ETSU Wesley Foundation building is open all week. Students are free to study, pray, and worship. Our goal is to make this a home away from home. The building also offers free wi-fi, a ping pong table, pool table, prayer room, free coffee, free snacks, a fire pit, and much more.
Are you a church?
No. We are a ministry provided by the United Methodist Church through the Holston Conference. Although we are not a church ourselves, Wesley encourages students to be actively involved in a local church to call home. If you are looking for a church you can email us at etsuwesley@gmail.com. We’re happy to help.
Do I have to attend ETSU?
No. We welcome any and all students attending any college.
Do I have to be Methodist?
No. The ETSU Wesley is open to all ETSU and neighboring college students. Our table is your table!
Are graduate students welcome?
Yes! Graduate students are part of our community, and are welcome to join.
Are transfer students welcome?
Yes, and Wesley is a great way to familiarize students with campus. Join anytime!
